June 30, 2012.Team ESQUIRE, led by EFI’s CFO Sandeep Chandiramani, with Carlo Cabreza and Lawrence Trinidad, finished a strong second (2:06:31) to SRBC Tri Team, who clocked a combined time of 2:06:11 to lead all relay teams in the sprint category of leg 2 of Unilab’s Tri United trilogy at Playa Laiya, San Juan, Batangas.
Biggest winner was Matthew O’Halloran of Team Alaska TBB, who bested RP TEAM’s Allen Santiago (1:44:55) by clocking 1:30:10, while Mirasol Abad of Team Sante Barley (1:56:55) ruled over Perxs Tri’s Maryann Constantino (2:17:27) among the females.
The other winners in the Sprint distance were: Eric Stroem (18-24), Luigi Robles (25-29), Andrea Barreto (30-34), Brian Acosta and Kate Abelarde (35-39), Oliver Kempo and Maricel Laxa Pangilinan (40-44), Ronald Honrede (45-49), Edwin Cagiyat (50-54), and Gary Brown (55-above).
Team ESQUIRE test their mettle next on August 5 at the premier triathlon event, Ironman 70.3 Philippines in Cebu.
