Celebrating Father’s Day without leaving the comforts our your home
Last time, we wrote about how to celebrate Mother’s Day during the ECQ period. In the article posted last May 8, 2020, we shared ideas on how to show our admiration and appreciation for our Nanays. This time around, as we are about to approach Father’s Day, allow us to share ideas on how to make your Tatays feel extra special.
There are several tried and tested ways on how to show your appreciation of our Tatays. This year, however, following the guidelines implemented by the government and LGUs to combat COVID-19, we’re going to have to be extra crafty in our Father’s Day celebration
With the threat of COVID-19 still lurking, going out in groups to celebrate is really not advisable. But don’t worry, there are a lot of exciting things that you and your family can do to celebrate this event without leaving the comforts of your home. Here are 5 crafty and creative ways for you to celebrate Father’s Day:
Your tatay might look tough on the outside but he’s still a sucker for sweets. Go and order a Father’s Day cake from his favorite bakeshop. If you want to go the extra mile, you can always prepare his favorite dessert.
Your tatay might need to replace some of his old tools in his toolbox or maybe he needs a piece of new exercise equipment to lose the pounds gained during the quarantine period. Whatever it may be, it will really serve as a nice gift this Father’s Day.
Another option is buying him his own electric shaver or grooming kit since most barbershops are still closed.
Set up a movie night at home with you and the rest of the family. Yes, your tatay might probably sleep through the majority of the movie but they’ll surely appreciate the gesture.
Prepare a breakfast fit for a king or organize an intimate dinner with the whole family. Like your nanay, your tatay will surely enjoy a good meal cooked and prepared with love. The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach after all.
For business-savvy tatays, learning new ways on how to manage a business will surely excite him. Teach him how to use social media to promote his business and generate new clients to increase sales. You can also help him boost website traffic and social media engagement by enrolling him in an online course. This is the perfect way to ensure business continuity during times like these.
If your tatay is looking for additional working capital or a business loan, there’s always Esquire Financing Inc. to help out. Just tell him to visit www.esquire.com.ph to see how we at EFI can help.
The times might be different today given the COVID-19 situation that the whole world is in but let’s not forget to show our appreciation to our tatays this Father’s Day. From us here in the #EFICommunity, we wish you all the best in life, ‘Tay!
